Driving Ohio Forward Conference Dates Changed:
Based on the historic funding opportunities generated by the passage of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Clean Fuels Ohio has been aggressively pursuing Federal grant funding for advanced transportation energy projects throughout the state. Because of the unprecedented volume of work this has required—and will continue to require over the coming weeks—we have decided to postpone our June conference until the fall of 2009.
Clean Fuels Ohio will be working hard over the coming month to prepare a large multi-partner proposal for $15 million in DOE Clean Cities funding for alternative fuel vehicle and infrastructure projects. These funding programs present unique possibilities to jump start major deployment efforts related to CNG, propane, hybrid, and electric vehicles. We may never see opportunities like these again and feel we must dedicate full attention to securing as much federal funding as possible for Ohio.
