Supporting Ohio's Biofuels
Clean Fuels Ohio believes biofuels can make a positive contribution
to our energy future. With a clear and common sense understanding
of the issues involved, biofuels can not only help us break our
addiction to petroleum—they can also contribute to the healthy
growth of our environment and economy.
If your company, non-profit or local
government (cities, counties, transit agencies, school districts
and other) is interested in exploring federal funding for these
types of projects, contact Brad Couch (brad@cleanfuelsohio.org) or
Andrew Conley (andrew@cleanfuelsohio.org), or call our office

The Ohio Energy Office funds this grant opportunity aimed at
installing new alternative fuel refueling stations in metropolitan
areas of Ohio. At the Hocking College Biofuels workshop on August
6th, 2008, the Ohio Energy Office announced that the funding limits
for this grant have doubled. Therefore those qualifying can receive
$40,000 per biofuel (B20 or E85) instead of $20,000 and those that
qualify to convert can now receive $10,000 instead of $5,000. The
application process remains open until funds are exhausted or the
end of the fiscal year is reached. Visit the Ohio Department of
Development (ODOD) Transportation website for further details and
